Expert Storyteller

As a veteran communicator, who was once $200 an hour, I can now offer my expert level consulting services for $50 an hour because I don’t have overhead in my nomadic life.

I have Starlink, and solid internet, so I am happy to help with writing, marketing, communications, crisis management and travel journalism content.

As someone who once ran an intense and number 1 newsroom two days a week in Canada’s Capital, I am well-versed in all aspects of urgent communications and I am highly structured when it comes to deadlines and commitments.

I cannot guarantee that my toy poodle won’t join the call.

David Ross, CEO of Ross Video and founder of the half billion dollar company that impacts billions of people daily (including any who watch the Super Bowl)!

“I am writing to provide a recommendation for Kimothy Walker, and her firm Tiger Lily Marketing, who have collaborated with Ross Video to help with local PR over the past dozen or so years.

During her tenure with us, Kimothy made notable contributions. She was involved in our recognition with a national engineering award and played a part in the company's achievement of the first Canadian Compassionate Company certification by the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA). She also facilitated that Premier Wynne’s first stop to an Ontario business upon becoming Premier was to Ross Video.

Continuing along the theme of company and employee awards, it’s possible that we may actually have run out of awards to win. Over the years, Ross won most categories of the Best Ottawa Business awards (BOBs), including Company of the Year and CEO of the year. Kimothy also assisted with the writing of nominations for the Forty Under 40 awards, the Rise Awards (A women in Broadcast award), and many more.

I will also be forever grateful for Kimothy’s assistance in my attaining an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Ottawa.

In the media domain, Kimothy assisted in managing coverage for events such as our significant donation to the Canadian Red Cross in support of Ukraine and our major factory expansion in Iroquois. Kimothy also helped generate coverage of our contribution to support and preserve the video memories and archives of indigenous people.

She played a significant role through her presence at prominent trade show events in Las Vegas, Amsterdam, and a network deal in New York City.

Furthermore, she facilitated many stories and shows in numerous TV, Radio and print media outlets, including the Globe and Mail.

Simply put, Kimothy knows people.
